PROJECT GOAL

The goal of the project was to plan and create a 2-3 minute live-action instructional video on how to use watercolor pencils. Also, the goal was to design and develop a storyboard containing the script, shot angles, camera set up, shot list, and sound effects/music selections for the video. From here the video was produced into three cuts: rough, intermediate, and final cuts. The ultimate goal of creating three cuts was to learn the effective production process when working with the client from start to finish.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The target audience for this assignment were middle school students in grades 6-8 that would be watching the video tutorial. After viewing the video, learners would be able to observe the basic watercolor painting techniques and experiment on how to apply these techniques on watercolor paper.
